About Me

I’m not a natural born camper – my parents never took me camping – and I had never done serious camping until I was in my 40′s. However learning it all from scratch meant that I didn’t skip the bits that was intuitive to everyone else.

Most of the information on this site is what I learned the hard way driving 35,000km around Australia with my partner and a 1985 landcuiser called Truckie!
